Sustainability

Business Model

Our business model involves using a 'print-on-demand service' meaning each item is only produced when ordered by you, eliminating overproduction and preventing waste. By using this model, no excess energy and raw materials are used to create unwanted stock, mitigating the environmental impact of over-stock, storage and potential landfill waste.

Garment Material

With the textile and garment industry ranking among some of the least sustainable industries worldwide, at Train&Hustle, we are proud to only supply garments produced under ethical and sustainable practices. All products from us are made from either 100% organic cotton, or a blend of organic cotton and recycled materials. Organic cotton is free from pesticides which are hazardous to the local community where the cotton is grown and often ends up in the local rivers and lakes. Our blank garment supplier has sustainability at their core and place a specific focus on mitigating their CO₂ emissions and water use across their supply chain.

Printing

The printers used to print our garments designs are called 'Kornit printers' which are notorious for adopting a waterless printing system and being highly energy efficient. Furthermore, inks used are both vegan and eco-friendly. They're also OEKO-TEX® approved - they don't contain any regulated or unregulated chemicals harmful to the environment.

Shipping

All our packaging in plastic free, reducing the many million tonnes of plastic that is currently ending up in our oceans each year!
